Our NewsNQ Consulting were awarded a collaborative procurement contract by Value Wales Date: 8th January 2007 Value Wales continues to act as a catalyst for change through their programme of Value for Money Collaboration between public sector organisations. Using the 'Making the Connections Improvement Fund', Value Wales have recently appointed NQ Consulting Ltd to manage and deliver a series of projects to assess the feasibility of developing stronger delivery vehicles for collaborative procurement within Wales. The 6 projects consider collaboration across Local Government, Higher and Further Education, NHS and other Public Sector bodies. The programme of work is being directed by NQ Consulting’s Chairman, John McClelland CBE who has recently completed a review of Public Sector Procurement in Scotland and is now leading the Procurement Reform Board to ensure his recommendations are implemented. In awarding the contract, the Head of Procurement for Value Wales, Paul Skellon said “We are delighted to engage NQ Consulting to deliver this programme of work and believe their expertise and experience will be of great benefit to us. This programme is critical to the continued development and implementation of collaborative opportunities in Wales.” |
